Founded by Rohit and Ashok, Papilio Trails is a passionate initiative dedicated to creating meaningful butterfly and moth-watching experiences across some of India’s richest biodiversity hotspots. More than just nature tours, our trails are carefully curated journeys designed for enthusiasts, photographers, naturalists, students, and anyone eager to explore the fascinating world of Lepidoptera.
At Papilio Trails, we believe that every butterfly has a story to tell and every habitat has something to teach. Our tours combine observation, learning, photography opportunities, habitat understanding, and conservation awareness to offer participants a deeper connection with nature. While the days are spent exploring vibrant butterfly trails, the nights often unfold into equally enchanting moth-watching sessions under specially curated light setups.
We keep our groups intentionally small to ensure an immersive, interactive, and personalized experience for every participant. Registrations are managed on a first-come, first-served basis through our WhatsApp community, allowing us to maintain close engagement and meaningful learning during each expedition.
An important part of our mission is to support and promote local expertise. We actively collaborate with regional naturalists and local guides, helping showcase their invaluable knowledge while also contributing to their livelihoods and sustainable eco-tourism efforts.
